Registration Now Open
We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the ACM Europe & 4TU.NIRICT Summer School on “Systems Meet AI”, taking place in Delft, the Netherlands, from 6–10 July 2026.
Thanks to the support from ACM Europe and the Dutch 4TU.NIRICT, participation in the summer school will be free of charge. The programme will bring together students, researchers, and experts working at the intersection of AI and networked computing systems, covering both Systems for AI and AI for Systems.
Benefits for selected participants
Selected participants will have access to:
Free participation in the full summer school programme, covering all lectures, the hackathon, social events, banquet dinner, reception drinks, lunches, and coffee/tea breaks. Accommodation and travel costs are NOT included and should be covered by participants themselves.
A free 1-year ACM membership for all attending students, supported by ACM.
A hackathon on “Tiny Machine Learning on Microcontrollers”, with three cash prizes:
First prize: €500
Second prize: €300
Third prize: €200
The opportunity to give a 1-minute pitch introducing your own research during the summer school.
Travel-grant opportunities:
Four travel grants of €250 each for international PhD students from non-Dutch institutions.
Four travel grants of €250 each for undergraduate and Master’s students from any institution.
Application materials
As part of the registration, applicants are asked to submit:
A short motivation statement of less than 75 words.
A one-page CV.

Registration deadline: 22 June 2026
Notification of results: by 24 June 2026
Please note that the number of seats is limited. If the number of applications exceeds the available capacity, not all applications will be accepted.
